Liberty Valley Doors is currently looking for a working shop foreman. Liberty Valley Doors has been a custom wood stile & rail door manufacturer since 1980. We can manufacture doors any size, design, out of any type of wood. We also offer pre hang and pre finish options. Our quality and service is second to none.
Summary of Responsibilities
The Working Shop Foreman is responsible for production, quality control, and shipment of product while adhering to a product schedule timeline. The position entails the Working Shop Foreman to supervise 5+ employees and train them on safety and maintenance issues. The Working Shop Foreman is in charge of maintenance for all equipment and shop belongings.

Job Specifications
Daily Activity
" Organize production flow
" Relay production goals to shop employees
" Place employees at needed production stations
" Review cut lists for accuracy
" Lead/Assist at needed production stations
" Oversee all aspects of production, safety, cleanliness, and quality control
" Assist in loading delivery truck
" Coordinate scheduling and production with office staff
" Ensure product meets or exceeds industry standard
" Train staff
Staff Training
" Forklift training and certification of employees
" Safety on equipment
" Teach and enforce lookout/tagout procedure
" Process of Production
" Train employees on how to test fire suppression system
Equipment Maintenance
" Troubleshoot
" Develop and Implement maintenance schedule
" Lubricate and change belts, bearings, etc…
Minimum Requirements for Position
" MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS OF CUSTOM DOOR MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE AS SUPERVISOR OR PLANT MANAGER WITH PROVEN LEADERSHIP SKILLS
" Must have supervised 5+ employees
" Knowledge of operating, safety, and maintenance of wood working equipment
" Must be able to demonstrate proven productivity
" Knowledge of Microsoft Office
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Must be detail oriented
" Must be self-motivated and punctual
" Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills with staff
" AutoCAD experience a plus

Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
We offer a competitive salary, $50,000 to $54,000, depending on experience, benefits, and 401K.
